DENMARK

Denmark is a small tourist-oriented town in Western Australia. It has numerous arts and craft shops, coffee shops and lots of holiday accommodation. It has surrounding wineries and places of scenic beauty. It is within an hours drive of Albany.

The town centre is easily small enough to explore by foot. To see the surrounding areas you will need a car, or take a bus tour. Greens Pool, at William Bay, and Ocean Beach are within reach by bicycle at 25 km and 10 km from Denmark town. There is a walking path along the river that passes the town centre, and an amble down to Rivermouth and back (returning along the other side of the river) will take about an hour.

The shire surrounding Denmark boasts many vineyards of high quality, generally tasting the wine is free. There are also several walking tracks.
